3rd Twinning of Lawyers is coming!

The European Association of Lawyers (AEA-EAL), the Council of Europe (CoE), and the Armеnian Ваr Association (Chamber of 
Advocates of Armenia) are co-organised the "Twinning of Lawyers": an online event for lawyers from Caucasus, Central Asia, Eastern and Western Europe. 

Twinning is free of charge. Registration is opened.

Dear Friends,
We have the pleasure to invite you to participate in a unique initiative - Twinning of Lawyers. For the third time lawyers from Caucasus, Central Asia, Eastern and Western Europe as well as from other countries are gathering with the aim to develop knowledge, exchange of experiences, but above all – to strengthen the network between lawyers from different jurisdictions. 

The event is co-organised by the European Association of Lawyers (AEA-EAL), the Council of Europe (CoE), and the Armеnian Ваr Association (Chamber of 
Advocates of Armenia). We hoped for a meeting in person this year, but uncertainty on Covid-19 sanitary situation and foreseen fourth wave of the pandemic forced us to
organise the Twinning again in an online form.
The event will take place on 16 October 2021 at 10.00 (Brussels time). Similarly to previous events, this year two parts are foreseen:
• a scientific part entitled “Dispute resolution mechanism: reducing the burden in courts and improving access to justice;
• a networking part for the Bars and lawyers to socialise in a less formal, friendly atmosphere. We will also share information on the celebrations of the 35th anniversary of the AEA-EAL.
During the event the online interpretation from English into Russian and vice versa will be provided by the Council of Europe. A general programme of the meeting can be found here.
